Hazel Harvey Quaid on Early American Music

In 1964, Hazel Harvey Quaid put together a 15-page pamphlet covering the history of early American music. Quaid had been an Associate Professor of Music at Arizona State University, and the pamphlet was intended for the Arizona State Music Teacher's Convention. Gammage Auditorium , a performing arts venue on the Arizona State campus designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, had only opened about a month earlier. Hazel Harvey Quaid (1892-1967) was the third wife of John Pier Quaid (1879-1945), and their story is covered here .
